Rotating Art Exhibits in downtown Martinez

MAA artists are encouraged to get 'their art work out there' with participating in the rotating art exhibits around town. You must be a current MAA member to take advantage of this. Locations to display your art are City Hall, the Harbormasters Office Tully Law Office, and Edward Jones Investments.

Artists currently showing at City Hall are:

Ricardo Alvarez - oils, Jane Yuen Corich - oils, Debra Dodson - Photographs, Jack Garasky - oils.

Artists currently showing at other locations are:

Ellen Heathcote - fiber arts, Tom Reich - pottery/photography

Nancy Robinson -acrylics showing casing the human form in bold colors at Edward Jones Office

Gulmoher Gandi with her impressive watercolors at The Law Offices of Joseph M. Tully

Art Show Information

Pinole Artisans - 1st annual Art in the Park 2010

Event is on Sunday, August 22, 2010- 10:00 - 5:00 (Set up 7 - 10)- Fernandez Park, In Historic Old Town Pinole - 595 Tennent Avenue, Pinole, CA - $60 per 10 X 10 space - Flat fee. No commission. - ($30 for Pinole Artisans Members) -

All forms of family-friendly arts and crafts are welcome. - Contact: William Lake (510)691-2445 or billlake50@comcast.net – Make check payable to Pinole Artisans – Bring or mail to 2221 Pear Street, Pinole, CA 94564 - Deadline for payment and application is July 25th. - You will not be considered as an exhibitor until payment is received

Farmer's Market

Farmer's Market is located in the 600 block between Starbucks and Bank of America. The market is open Sunday - 10:00 - 2:00 pm - setup time is 9:00 am.

All MAA artists are invited and encouraged to 'sell' their art. The cost for a booth is $30 - get some of your friends together and share a booth. Please let the Farmers Market group know you will be joining them by calling the hot line - 925.431.8361.

Artists Jam Session - The 2nd Sunday of each month MAA will host a 'free' booth so artists can hang out and do their 'art' in public. This is our second year of this event and it proved very successful last year.
