Roger Renn is a visual artist and a resident of Martinez since 1994. He has joined the Martinez Art Association to meet other artists, grow artistically, and to share his work with the public.

Roger started drawing at an early age on leftover lined school paper. He continued exploring his interest in visual arts in high school where he experimented with sculpture and 3-D art. In college he discovered figurative drawing. Influences include classical Greek art and Abstract Expressionism.

"SunFlower"
Today Roger is most often inspired by the natural world. He keeps a sketchpad or watercolor set with him whether he is hiking in Yosemite, paddling a canoe in Hawaii, or rock climbing in Sedona.
